Dr. Sanjay Chauhan is a Professor, Gujarat Technological University-Graduate School of Pharmacy (GTU-GSP). He has 14 years of rich experience with a blend of teaching, research, administration, and entrepreneurship. He completed B. Pharm in 2003 and M. Pharm (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) in 2005 from one of the oldest and nationally reputed L. M. College of Pharmacy, Ahmedabad affiliated with Gujarat University. He has passed GATE- 2003 with 86.46 percentile for admission in PG with Scholarship from AICTE. He earned his Ph. D (Pharmaceutical Science) in 2011 from Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Saurashtra University, Rajkot under the mentorship of Prof. (Dr) N. R. Sheth. Previously he has worked with N. R. Vekaria Institute of Pharmacy, Junagadh as Lecturer; Smt. R. B. Patel Mahila Pharmacy College, Atkot as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor & In-Charge Principal; Faculty of Pharmacy, Dharmsinh Desai University, Nadiad as Professor.He serves as mentor and engaged on the innovation and entrepreneurship activities and policy framework in various institutions and statutory bodies. He is also serves as Honorary Director of GTU Innovation Council.He has delivered more than 20 expert /guest lecture to different QIP/CEP Programmes. His research area is Pharmaceutical Analysis, Phytochemistry and Nature Based Drug Design. He has filed 01 Patent at Indian Patent Office and approved three trademark in his credit. He has 24 national and international Research publications and 02 books to his credit. He has explored the ethanopharmacological properties of Opuntia elatior Mill fruit, as heamatinic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and bronchodilatory actions. He developed an innovative product with brand name “Hempoin” for the indication of erythropoiesis and his research is recognized as Innovative by Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), Govt of India.He has completed many industry sponsored research projects and recipient of research grant under Research Promotion Scheme by GUJCOST and Startup India Policy. He also awarded 7500 USD for Theoretical solution for the project titled New Disease Indication for NK3 antagonist.

Dr Manju Misra is currently associated with graduate school of pharmacy, Gujarat technical university as associate professor. She completed her B pharm and M pharma from Nagpur University with specialization in pharmaceutics. She did her PhD from BIT, Mesra, Ranchi working on thermal analysis and its application on drug excipient compatibility screening. She has total 12 years’ of experience post PhD, out of which 2 years were in various Research (Formulation development) and development unit of pharmaceutical industries like Macleods Pharmaceuticals Mumbai, Piramal Pharmaceutical development services Pvt Ltd., Ahmedabad, Cadila pharmaceutical’s Pvt Ltd, Dholka, Ahmedabad, wherein she worked in generic formulation development for regulated market. Post her industrial stint, she joined NIPER Ahmedabad, an institute of national importance in the area of Pharmaceutical research, under the aegis of ministry of chemical and fertilizer, Government of India, as assistant professor in the department of Pharmaceutics, where she worked for 10 years. At NIPER, she was instrumental in setting up entire Pharmaceutics department and played key role in several academic and administrative responsibilities including, as subject co-ordinator for Pharmaceutics, NIPER academic course coordinator, Placement coordinator, co-ordinator for Industry academia linkage, chairman NIPER JEE-2018 and several others, apart from teaching and mentoring MS and PhD students.
She has more than 50 national and international publications in peer reviewed international journals to her credit, more than 25 poster publications including four international oral presentations and several invited talks to her credit. She is recipient of prestigious DST INSPIRE faculty award (2012), DBT- Rapid Grant award for young investigator (2012), DST SERB EMR grant (2018), DOP-PPDS scheme award (2016), besides travel grants from DST and DBT (2017), total worth more than 80 lakhs. She was part of INSPIRE teachers’ team which was invited to attend one-week In-residence program at Rashtrapati Bhavan, during the tenure of Hon. President Shri Pranab Mukherjee, in 2016. She has so far mentored more than 60 master’s students for their MS dissertation work and 3 PhD Students as advisor and 2 as Co-advisor respectively. PhD and MS students under her mentorship have received several prestigious awards like Newton Bhabha PhD exchange award, Khorana fellowship, Nestle powder challenge, ICMR SRF, etc. She primarily works in the area of lipid nanocolloidal carriers in enhancing delivery of drugs across Blood brain barrier, ocular barriers, solubility enhancement of drugs using nano crystallization approach, electro spraying and electrospinning based drug delivery system, reverse engineering studies for aiding 505B(2) filings, and application of thermal methods in drug development. She has keen interest in repurposing indigenous cow ghee as pharmaceutical excipient and its potential in achieving targeted drug delivery, an area in which she has been working since last 8 years.

Mr. Ravisinh Solanki works at the Graduate School of Pharmacy (GSP) as an assistant professor. He has more than ten years of experience in industrial R&D and teaching. He pursued an undergraduate degree in pharmacy from North Gujarat University in 2011. He pursued post-graduation from the Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, in 2013. He has also completed a Post-Graduation Diploma in Regulatory Affairs from the Shivarath Institute of Clinical Research, Gujarat University, in 2013. He is GPAT-qualified with 97 percentiles in the 2011 batch for admission in PG with a scholarship from AICTE. He completed Under-Graduation from B S Patel Pharmacy College, Saffrony Institute of Technology in 2011, GPAT qualified in 2011, Post-Graduation in Quality Assurance from Shri Sarvajanik Pharmacy College, Mehsana in 2013. He was Trainee in Analytical Research Lab at Cadila Pharmaceutical, Dholka during 2013 to 2014. He was also Senior Executive in Analytical Development Department at R&D center of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd, Vadodara during 2014 to 2020.His area of interest is Analytical Development & Validation, Characterization, Impurity Profiling, Pre-formulation and Metabolite study, Quality Management System (QMS), Auditing and Compliance.

Mr. Bhavinkumar Gayakvad is currently working as an assistant professor at the Graduate School of Pharmacy, Gujarat Technological University. He completed his Post-Graduation from NIPER-Ahmedabad, an institute of national importance in the area of Pharmaceutical research, under the aegis of the ministry of chemical and fertilizer, Government of India, and Under-graduation from Smt. B.N.B Swaminarayan Pharmacy Collage Salvav, Vapi. He has Qualified GPAT 2018, NIPER-JEE 2018, and GSET-2022-life sciences. His field of research includes Material Design – Optimisation and Development, Computational Biology, Drug Discovery and Design, and Tissue engineering. He has good technical skills and knowledge about Animal tissue culture techniques, Scaffolds fabrications for tissue engineering, Molecular Dynamics simulations, and related computational tools used to get molecular to atomic-level insights of molecular interactions of proteins and peptides.

Ms. Bhumika Maheriya currently working as a Assistant Professor at Graduate School of Pharmacy, GTU. She has more than 8 years of experience in research and teaching. She has completed her graduation in 2009 from Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University and Post-graduation in 2011 from A. R. College of Pharmacy under Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad. She has also completed post graduate diploma in Intellectual Property Rights in 2019 from Gujarat Technological University. She has more than 3 years’ experience of working in clinical research and medical writing in cardiology area at U.N.Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre, Ahmedabad. Since 2016 she is associated with Gujarat Technological University. She has published 5 research and review papers in national and international journals. Her research area mainly focus on Clinical Research Regulation of Drugs and Medical Devices and application of eCTD software for regulatory filling. She is member of International Society of Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs (ISPRA). Previously she has also worked as an Institutes Internal Guide for 6 students of M. Pharm (in 2014) and M. Pharm specialization Quality assurance and Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs (QARA) (in 2016) from L. J. Institute of Pharmacy, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Moreover She is GPAT Qualified in 2014.Her area of interest is International Regulatory Affairs, Documentation preparation according to the Regulatory requirements for Pharmaceuticals and eCTD software application compilation.She is active Registered Pharmacist from Gujarat State Pharmacy Council (GSPC). Prior to join GTU, She had worked with Accuprec Research Labs. Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad as a Research Assistant (Quality Assurance Department) from July 2017 to March 2019. She completed her Under-Graduation from S. J. Thakkar Pharmacy College, Gujarat Technological University, Rajkot in 2015, Post-Graduation in Quality Assurance from Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Saurashtra University, and Rajkot in 2017. Currently, she is pursuing Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Navin Sheth, Vice Chancellor, Gujarat Technological.
